Sajib Wazed Joy has arrived Bangladesh along with wife Kristine Wazed
Sajib Wazed Joy, son of Sheikh Hasina, President of the Awami League and Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, has arrived in Dhaka today.
Sheikh Hasina along with her party top brass will be at the airport to receive her only son.
Accompanied by his wife Kristine Wazed, Joy has arrived at the Airport at 10 this morning.
BCL TO WELCOME JOY, HIS WIFE AT AIRPORT TODAY
Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), student wing of Awami League, will accord a grand reception to Sajib Wazed Joy, the son of Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and Bangladesh Awami League President Sheikh Hasina.The BCL activists will gather in hundreds at the airport and accompany the couple to the city. Female activists of BCL will welcome and greet Christina in Bengali traditional way and hold a Badhubaran ceremony. They will also stand beside the Dhanmondi 32 no. street of the city and throw flowers to the couple. The activists also set up a stage and decorate valleys of Dhanmondi, where the couple will reside.The Dhaka University (DU) unit of BCL arranged a rally on the campus on Tuesday morning welcoming Joy and Kristine. Arranged at the foot of the Aparajeyo Bangla, the rally was attended by BCL leader Liyakat Shikder, Nazrul Islam Babu, Bolram Poddar, Delwar Hossain and others. It is the first time Joy is coming to Dhaka after his marriage with Kristine.
